Steve's StoryA split second in January of 1980 changed Steve Hornsey’s life.

Most people would have given up…resigned themselves to a less than exceptional life. Steve chose to excel. His chosen sport…waterskiing.

Over 20 years later and with an unbeatable attitude and spirit, he is a world and national champion. And he is looking to be one again while representing the United States in the 2009 World Disabled Water Ski Championships. With your support, he can continue to go beyond what most of us can’t even imagine

Steve continues to commit his life to helping others with disabilities learn that they can achieve anything they want. As Program Coordinator for City of Sacramento Department of Parks and Recreation Access Leisure Section, he has helped countless others to thrive and enjoy life by providing sports and leisure opportunities to individuals with disabilities in the greater Sacramento area.
